When I started writing my novel, I'll admit, I sort of had a small, tiny, minuscule idea it was going to be easy, but after having written for almost a year now and researched the industry—A LOT—I found out it isn't easy. It takes a lot of work and a lot of hours at your computer. Gees and I’m not even to querying yet. Anyway, this video cracks me up because it's not a piece of cake to write a book. Enjoy, but most importantly enjoy your wonderful Thursday! Remember, tomorrow is Friday and that is just delicious!
BTW, look forward to my own version of the 12 Days of Christmas coming soon. Of course, it will start 12 days before Christmas. That is typical Julia, stating the obvious! :)

I saw this last week and laughed. When my kids came to watch it they looked dumb struck and said "I don't get it" and I replied "I didn't think you would."
ReplyDeleteI am laughing out loud at my desk. Not very covert of me... soooo funny!!! Thanks for sharing.
ReplyDeleteYes, Patti, it might not be funny to little kids, or even some adults. It is very dry humor. Plus, if you haven't ever tried to write a book, it might not be understood fully. I love it though. Especially the last bit where she says, "I'm going to go to my car and get my gun.
ReplyDeleteLiz, I am so glad you enjoyed this. You can laugh out loud at your desk anytime you want.
My favorite part is the comment on "have you ever used a steak knife?" "Do you think you are qualified to perform surgery?" Ha Ha ha.
ReplyDeleteI have to say that sitting down and writing a really good story is hard, I often find my characters totally awesome in my head but very hard to get all that awesomeness down on paper in a creative way. That is why I have decided to leave the writing up to professionals like yourself Julia, I will just be the one who enjoys all the good stories in the world.
Lizers - Thanks for following my blog. I think you get the #1 follower award. Don't know what that is, but just the recognition is enough, right? JK. Thanks friend!
