Smiling all the Way From A to Z -- V

We are nearing the end of the Blogging From A to Z April Blogfest. Continuing forward, the things starting with the letter V that make me smile are...

VIDEOS

Last month, I shared for Alex J. Cavanaugh's Top Ten Movie Countdown Blogfest a bunch of videos I love. In order not to repeat that post, I'm going to tell you my favorite cartoons. I'm a kid at heart. The cartoons that make me smile are as follows:

Madagascar
Emperor's New Groove
Kung Fu Panda
Ice Age
Chicken Run
Up
Despicable Me
Bolt
Over the Hedge
The Incredibles
Toy Story

Oh, how I am smiling just thinking about all of these flippin' awesome movies.

What are some of your favorite cartoons videos? And let me know something starting with the letter V that makes you smile.

PS: Refer to the blurb on the very top of my blogs sidebar to know why I am posting about what makes me smile. Go forward and smile!

  1. In keeping with my dinosaur tastes, I've always loved the really old-school cartoons, like Tom and Jerry, the Pink Panther, Popeye, Felix the Cat, and Winsor McKay's silent cartoons like Gertie the Dinosaur.

    1. Never watched Road to el Dorado, but Aladdin is a classic. I failed to put in some older Disney flicks. Shrugs.

  5. I would have to say my recent favorite is Tangled! Love this cute list though. Just saw
Toy Story 2 and loved that too.

  7. I've seen and loved almost all your list, with young kids you become quite a connoisseur! I'd add the Little Mermaid to the list, I have a soft spot for it since it's one of the first movies I saw at the cinema. :)

    1. That is cool. I can't even remember which is the first movie I saw in the cinema. My mind is Swiss cheese.

  8. I have a friend who draws some of those cartoons. I'm a big fan of the Grim Adventures of Billy and Mandy as well as Monsters Inc. Oh and how could I forget the Nightmare Before Christmas?

  10. Hi Julia,

What an awesome choice of cartoon videos. My favourite cartoon movie is 'The Flintstone's meet the Simpsons.' The opening line was a classic. "Fred Flintstone meet Homer Simpson. Yabba dabba....doh!" Okay, I made that up :)

Seriously on a semi-cartoon movie note, I just love "The Adventures of Rocky & Bullwinkle."

    Enjoy your weekend, Julia.

    Gary :)
