First of all, thanks for all the birthday wishes last Saturday. The day was full of love and happy smiles because, well heck, it was totally all my day!
And the challenge continues. I'm drinking a ton of water and making sure I'm pacing myself so I don't burn out. Oh, this isn't a marathon, is it? I've been confused as to why I'm just sitting here typing instead of running and sweating really bad. Back to the real point of this post, now. We are to the letter G and I'm going to tell you what makes me smile beginning with this letter:
GUYS
Oh, guys, guys, guys how I love thy name and cute butts, too. haha I have yet to catch myself a hubs but by golly men are sure fun to look at, or to read about for that matter (coughs--Edward Cullen). You do make me cry sometimes, so shame, shame, shame on you!
These are my famous guy crushes: Bono from U2 and Lance Armstrong (I still think you rock and you should be given back your yellow jerseys).
And I'll be honest... I really like kissing. Guys, you make me swoon with your magic lips.
So, do you like kissing? No lying now (please keep this G-rated, get it? Letter G-rated). Who are your fictional or famous people crushes? Starting with the letter G, what makes you smile?
Writing Jewels
PS: Refer to the blurb on the very top of my blogs sidebar to know why I am posting about what makes me smile. Go forward and smile!
If you can pick guys, then I'm picking girls!!
ReplyDeleteLOL
Deletehaha! I love this. Guys make me smile, too. And who doesn't like kissing?
ReplyDeleteMy celeb crushes are Johnny Depp, Bruno Mars, and Taye Diggs.
Makes me smile- gratitude, getaways, gifts
Johnny is a swoonable man! I heard he's single now. hehe
DeleteI could use a getaway. Couldn't we all, though? :)
G-rated? Well, I guess I don't have much to say, then. I will say that I've kissed some guys and I don't see what the big deal is. They just don't do anything for me, but I'd totally switch teams for Bradley Cooper or David Beckham.
ReplyDeleteRob, you never cease to surprise me... *shakes head*
DeleteI'm surprised that you're still surprised by things I say. You have to know that I do it partly just to get a reaction from you, right?
DeleteI don't really have any literary or celebrity crushes but I'll agree with you about the kissing.
ReplyDeleteYay for kissing!
DeleteI love your enthusiasm, but I can't share it for Lance Armstrong. He's just a complete tool.
ReplyDeleteTo each his/her own. :)
DeleteI am happily married (20 years), so I have one GUY I love in particular. But I'm pretty much a fan of the whole male race. There are some colossal jerks in their camp, of course, but there are plenty of good guys too. Not a bad G choice at all, Julia. :)
ReplyDeleteI applaud you for being married for 20 years. That is quite the accomplishment. Good on you and your hubs!
DeleteWe're not a bad bunch really, are we? :)
ReplyDeleteNot that bad at all!
DeleteU2 has been my favorite band for... well, a long, long time.
ReplyDeleteI think what Michael is getting at with Armstrong comment is about how he lied for so long about doping.
I am a super fan of U2. Anyway, we never know what was happening with Lance Armstrong... I like to give him the benefit of the doubt. haha I still love you and Michael. :) Thanks for stopping by, champ. I'm running over to your blog. Right. Now.
DeleteFun post!
ReplyDeleteOkay, I'm happily married, but I can admit that I just might have a teensy crush on Ed Westwick from Gossip Girl. Maybe. ☺
I appreciate your comment on my blog and the follow. It seems fun here; I'm following back. Hope you had a great Monday!
Holy monkeys! I just looked up Ed Westwick and you are right! He is crushworthy all the way.
DeleteHope your Monday was phenomenal!
My pathetic ex-"fiancé" never even kissed me until over two and a half years into our dysfunctional relationship, and even after that, he rarely did it and wasn't any good. Hopefully, if I ever have a second relationship in my life, he'll know how to kiss, will want to do it often, and won't even need to be nagged about it or have it explained to him why it's important to a healthy relationship.
ReplyDeleteI virtually send you a happy-to-kiss-you boyfriend. Gees, what kind of guy doesn't like to kiss? I'm sort of concerned for him.
DeleteKissing - yes! :) If I could kiss a celebrity, I'd probably kiss Chris Evans (who plays Captain America) and oh my, I love his butt! It's amazing and I'm not even a butt gal. :)
ReplyDeleteWoot for Captain America. He is a hotty!
DeleteBenedict Cumberbatch :) And Colin Firth :) And Viggo Mortensen :) SO MANY GOOD GUYS :D
ReplyDeleteSarah Allen
(From Sarah With Joy)
Eeep! Colin Firth is dreamy!
DeleteHoly moly, Sarah! You probably don't remember when I lived in your neighborhood, ages ago, but it's good to see you doing awesome things! Carry on.
DeleteMy literary crush would probably have to be Mr. Darcy. I remember sharing Elizabeth Bennett's infatuation with him when I first read the book. And then, of course, there's Atticus Finch of To Kill a Mockingbird…
ReplyDeleteAnd, I would have to agree, kissing = of the good. :)
My crush? Probably the boyfriend :D
ReplyDeleteBut OTHER than him (not that I would EVER...) I would have to go with Leonardo DiCaprio. He will forever be hot to me.
I've never really had a fictional crush, but I do admire Mr. Darcy :)
Oh my gosh, my "crush" list is pretty long, lol! Right now I'm trying to catch up with the SuperNatural series, so I'm totally crushing on Jensen Ackles *sigh*. But last year it was Alexander Skarsgård. And don't get me started on fictional characters!
ReplyDeleteA dream crush, and starting with letter G? Only one guy fits that description: Jake Gyllenhall, all-the-way-to-Tuesday :)
ReplyDeleteYou are so right about Edward Cullen. I am not ashamed. LOL. Kissing: love it. could do it all day. As far as crushes go I'm going to sound trite and say my real crush is my husband and my literary crush is the MC in my book, Joel. I think about him all the time.
